An engineering company that structures how international capability gets to Iraq.

Taqwin Engineering Company is registered in the State of Washington, based in Bellevue, and works between the operators of Iraq and the engineering and technology companies of the United States and beyond.

What we are

Engineering judgment, program discipline, and the structures that make both usable in Iraq.

Taqwin was founded on a simple observation: Iraq has the projects and the international market has the engineering and the technology, but the two rarely meet on terms both can live with. Operators need a locally accountable contractor. International companies need a partner who can evaluate a scope, qualify a vendor and manage a program to their standards — and who will not sell them a dream.

So we built a platform rather than an agency. Taqwin provides the engineering review, the program office and the commercial structure. SERTECPET provides oilfield technology and production-facility delivery. Green Fields Oilfield Services provides the Iraqi contract and the crews. Each does what it is good at; Taqwin makes sure the operator sees one program.

"Our role is not brokerage. Taqwin brings engineering judgment, supplier qualification and project-management discipline to move opportunities from concept to execution."

Leadership & bench

Who does the work.

Technical program leadership

Taqwin is led from Bellevue, Washington by U.S.-based engineering and program-management professionals whose background is technical program management on large multidisciplinary programs — high-pressure fluid systems, test infrastructure, verification testing and manufacturing readiness — across the aerospace, energy and industrial sectors.

Senior process & project authority

Technical review is anchored by senior process and project consultants with more than forty years in oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals and EPC — careers spanning Dow, KBR, McDermott, Saipem, PDO, Kvaerner, Electrowatt and Worley — covering FEED, HAZOP, EPC bid review and execution-readiness.

Partner disciplines

Through U.S. engineering consultants coordinated by Taqwin: project management, process, mechanical, electrical and controls, HSE and QA/QC. Through SERTECPET: production facilities, well services and artificial lift. Through Green Fields: construction, commissioning and HSE in Iraq.

Bring us the problem before the tender.

The earlier we see a scope, the more engineering judgment we can add — at concept, at FEED, or before a bid is priced. A first conversation costs nothing.
